Late-breaking clinical trial abstracts must present new, scientifically rigorous data that have not been previously presented at a stroke congress. Submissions should have the potential to significantly influence clinical practice and/or advance the field of stroke research. This category is reserved for clinical trials, and large international registries reporting novel findings. Abstracts outside of these categories, or those that could have been submitted during the regular submission period, will not be considered.

We will accept trials that will be completed after the submission deadline of 25 May 2026, provided that final results are available in time for presentation in a plenary or late-breaking session at WSC 2026.
